Xiameter PMX-200 fluids

Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) fluids are water clear “silicone fluids” that are used in a vast number of applications. And Xiameter PMX-200 is the Dow Corning brand name for their standard silicone products.

Available in a very wide rage of viscosities available; from 0,65 to 1,000,000cSt, some of the numerous application possibilities for Xiameter PMX-200 silicone fluids include:

Release Material – used alone or as part of a formula
Foam Preventative – for many processing operations requiring anti-foam assistance
Mechanical Fluid – excellent viscosity temperature characteristics
Surface-Active Material – added to vinyl plastisols
Lubricant – excellent lubrication for most plastic and elastomeric surfaces
Cosmetics/Skin Preparations – important ingredient in hand creams, skin protectants, suntan lotions etc.
Polishes and Chemical Specialties – automobile and furniture polishes as well as water repellant films to name a few
Electrical/Electronic Equipment – given their excellent dielectric properties Xiameter 200 fluids can be used for both insulating and damping applications
Plastic Additive – to improve the processing ability of plastics or to impart surface slip or anti-block
